Concrete base
Modular tanks are installed on a strip concrete base on the ground, or partially recessed.
Inside the strip concrete base, the ground is leveled, roots, debris, stones and other sharp objects are removed and a layer of sand 10 cm thick is filled in.

Outside the tape base, it is desirable to level and compact the soil for the convenience of assembling the tank, or make a concrete stage 1 meter wide.
Modular tanks can be installed partially deepened to a depth of 2.37 m, followed by backfilling with soil (after filling the tank).
Underground modular tanks are allowed to be installed only in a concrete or brick caisson.
If the modular tank is installed indoors, usually the concrete base is already prepared. In this case, a layer of sand of 5 cm is enough. If the concrete base has large differences, you need to pour a leveling layer of concrete with a width of 200-300 mm around the perimeter of the tank.
